Pastor Schoeneck
Caleb Schoeneck arrived at Beautiful Savior in 2003 after completing his seminary education. He has this to say about his call to serve as pastor here...
"The love for my wife and the children the Lord has blessed me with is second only to my love for Jesus Christ. He has given me tremendous people and incredible opportunities to work with them in the best community imaginable.
"I pray that God will open doors so that I might encourage families and individuals with the good news that WE ARE FORGIVEN through Jesus Christ our Beautiful Savior."
Pastor Schoeneck grew up in Seattle, Washington. Prior to serving at Beautiful Savior, he was a vicar (intern) at Risen Savior in Oostburg, Wisconsin; Holy Word in Austin, Texas; and Grace in Yorba Linda, California.

Most of my years growing up were spent in Citrus Heights, California – a suburb of Sacramento.My family also had some short stints in the panhandle of Florida and in Colorado.My Mom currently lives in Citrus Heights and teaches the 3rd and 4th grades at St. Mark’s Lutheran School.
For high school, I attended Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wisconsin.Then I moved on to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.And, this past spring I finished up my second year at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoyed activities such as soccer, wrestling, tennis, and choir while I was in high school.In college I participated in soccer, student government, and drama.I also love basketball, and have even dabbled in hockey in the last couple of years.I once ran a half-marathon, but I don’t see that happening again anytime soon.
I am engaged to an amazing girl, Ashley Lecker.She is about to begin her third year as a 1st grade teacher at Divine Savior Academy in Doral, Florida.She always makes sure I have my head and heart in the right place.
I am excited to begin serving you and my Savior Jesus Christ at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
Beautiful Savior
In the early 1980's, the City of College Station built a beautiful new park on the edge of town called "Central Park." The church founders purchased property next to the beautiful new park and called the church Beautiful Savior.
Today, the park and the church are centrally located in the heart of College Station. More beautiful than the church property are the promises that God has given. God's Word in the Bible and the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper given by the Savior himself continue to be at the center of what makes this church in the middle of town beautiful.
The Sunday morning church service is a cross-section of young families, experienced professionals, college students, retired couples, and individuals who make up the community. The service blends together a liturgical format of hymns, prayers, Scripture readings, sermon, and uplifting music.
Lutheran Church The Lutheran church is a Christian denomination that traces its history back to the early 1500's. The teachings of the Lutheran church can be summarized in the words of Martin Luther as "by grace alone, through faith alone, on Scripture alone." While Lutheran history is over 500 years old, the message and the church's ministry are current with today's world because they are built on the timeless truths of God's Word.
Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church is one of over 1,200 churches in the church body of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). While the history of these Lutheran churches can be traced back over 150 years ago to three churches in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, today there are WELS congregations and missions all across the United States and the world.
