Living Nativity
Friday, November 30, 2012  6:00-9:00pm

For over 8 years, Beautiful Savior has told the story of Jesus' birth every Christmas season through a living nativity.  From live animals (like camels, sheep, donkeys, and goats) to live actors (like Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the wisemen), our living nativity is sure to be fun for the family and touching to the soul.

Beautiful Savior's Living Nativity will take place at Wolf Pen Creek Park in College Station during the "Christmas at the Creek" celebration. Wolf Pen Creek Park is located along Dartmouth Street between Holleman Drive and Colgate Drive. The Living Nativity display will be near the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley Building. (Click here for a map.)

"In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world... So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David... While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them." (Luke 2)

The living nativity scene is put to music and voice acting as the story of Jesus' birth is told.  Hear how our God created a perfect world, how that world fell, and how the birth of Jesus is part of that story to save God's world.

The Living Nativity will be presented alongside the rest of the "Christmas at the Creek" events, where there will also be free hot chocolate and cookies, other song and dance performances, hayrides, and much more.  Come take a picture beside our camel as you wait in line for the hayride to take you to more Christmas fun.
